From the above values I know that I've recouped 60% of my original investment ($600 from $1000). I'm still 40% in debt with this program, -$400 in profit. I also know that I will earn $300 this month from this single program (20% of the current value of $1500). So it will take me just over one month to earn the remaining $400 to break even.

By tracking all my HYIPs in this manner and adding up the totals I know exactly how much I've invested, what my current investments are worth, how much real profit I've made and how much I can expect to earn in the coming month.

To make tracking my HYIP easier I've created a spreadsheet that does a lot of calculations for me. I usually update my investment details once or twice a week. I've been using this spreadsheet for the last 12+ months and have found it very valuable.

Without proper tracking it's easy to ignore the loses and focus on the wins :)

Here is what I do to track my HYIP investments portfolio...

I only track three main things for each HYIP:

- How much I've invested
This includes my original investment in a program plus any additional manual spends.

- How much is the investment currently worth
This includes any compounding that is occuring with my investment

- How much did I withdraw in profit to my ecurrency or bank account This is when I make a real withdrawal to my ecurrency or bank account. Eg: receive money in my pocket.

I found that these 3 numbers answer all the critical questions about my investment and help me plan my next spends.

Here is a quick example:

Program Name: SampleHYIPProgram (paying 20% a month)
Originally Invested: $1000
Current Investment Value: $1500
Earnings withdrawn: $600 (this would be a real withdrawal to my ecurrency account or bank account)
